Can we Re-Use Oil? Does it affect Brain Development in Kids? Health Tips | Early Foods

Published
@Shalini - Early Foods
Did you know that the brain is made up of 60-70% of fat! And 80% of the brain is developed by the age of 4-5 years. And this is the time, we make them indulge in fried foods that are prepared outside home / packaged like Puri's, chips, fries, nuggets, samosas, pakodas, biscuits and cakes etc.

Just like we don't use re-used petrol to fuel our vehicles, why are we eating foods that are cooked in re-used oil?

Oil re-used many times is not nutritious, and is full of harmful free radicals, This overcooked oil can lower the metabolism or ability to digest food well.

Many research studies show that reheated oil for more than 3 times is known to cause damage to liver and the digestive tracts.

It's the rainy season, and who does not love fried stuff.. But it's best to make a yummy fried snack at home or choose a baked product made with good fats.

Love,
Shalini.
