Does Beto care about Kids or Power???

Beto O'rourke plays political games and interrupts Governor Abbots press conference regarding the school shooting on May 25, 2022.
There are only 2 reasons why he would do this.
1. For political gain (power)
2. or he actually cares
Even if he actually cares then is this the appropriate time to voice his opinion?
