Footage shows newborns from a neonatal intensive care unit at a Dnipro children's hospital after they were moved to a makeshift bomb shelter to a lower level of the building, the New York Times reports.

Dr Denis Surkov, chief of the neonatal unit at Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Children's Clinic Hospital, who also provided the footage, said "this is our reality". Dnipro suffered missile strikes as Russia began its invasion of Ukraine on 24 February.
